Chief Builder Ellie: "Sooooo we realised we did not have anyone in charge of Building. I am definitely not experienced enough to be in charge but until a duplicant with more aptitude than me shows up I am stuck (ouch! What did you do that for?!)... I am honored to have that position and will do my best to try and... and... I will do my best."
"We have three... make that four big projects at the moment. Some are delayed by the production of the materials so they are done in stages and we go back as we can."
Builder Travaldo whispering: "Your great idea to improve the cooling of the Refinery Machine by using a bunch of Wheezewort and hydrogen means it takes forever to cool down..."
Chief Builder Ellie: "We are mostly done with the natural gas generators building. We are not sure yet if we want to vacuum the building before we turn the generators back on. We actually had to close the whole thing down to sort out the electric wires but we think we have it now. The problem is that the airlock door to the geyser is powered by electricity on an internal network and... well with the generators down the door is locked. Water airlock takes a bit more space but you can get it without electricity!"
"The second big project we have going at the moment is the new building where we are going to move the Dreckos. Since we just used a few tons of plastic we are going for 3 rooms instead of two. Hopefully our ranchers will be able to keep up with the demands on so many... We are still not sure how the new dupe managed to trap himself inside and I was told he had to spend the night there, but we are confident we will get him out by the end of the day. Probably..."
"This time we are going to fully vacuum the rooms since they are currently filled with a mix of polluted oxygen and carbon dioxide, and fill them mostly with hydrogen. We mean to lower part of each room to fill it with enough oxygen or at least polluted oxygen since we are using atmo suits in that location for mealwood to grow. In the current ranch we were using a regular door and most of the hydrogen seems to have escaped."
"Anyway, our third big project is awesome!! The Supply Teleporters are close to the magma core and our workers most of the time did not make it back. They started falling asleep in their suits in the most random places. So we have installed a transit tube! It goes all the way up to the left side of the base so far. We have started adding another entrance at the Teleporter, I believe its half way up? That second part is partly done, we ran out of plastic... although we could probably strip the ones from the base."
"We actually plan to also send it to the right side of the base since we have noticed that some workers who exited one side to work on the other also did not make it back in time to reach the toilets and also fell asleep. Often on ladders... talk about a sore back! In the end it will also reach up to the surface! We are close to it too! Some of the diggers tell me they saw Voles up there, maybe we can catch a few, we need more meat... Oh wait we need more metal to contain them, the few we had disappeared from the small island we confined them to."
"The last one... well it is actually not a Construction project but it will require all of us with Mechatronic skills in order to get this done. And we don't have any copper at the moment but all we need really is a Receptacle in the kitchen heading towards the Supply Teleporter.
Added notes to the report:
1 - The Refinery cooling with Wheezelwort is from here. Compared to what I was running before I do not need someone on a wheel anymore and the output pipes have stopped breaking. But a LOT of the time is spent with the liquid going round and round. The comments say I should put the Liquid Pipe Thermo Sensor on 38C but mine is on 58C. And even there it is still struggling, I had to put a stop to steel and only produce copper at the moment but I badly need steel. A lot of it is in those pipes...
I will probably soon change it for a Thermo Aquatuner/Steam Turbine soon.
2 - The Natural Gas Generator is from Luma, I am not sure if I will be able to trap those two gas in the vents, I went really far to get them but we will see how that goes. As soon as I have enough copper to make a Smart Battery I will be able to turn the whole thing back on. The Geyser has gone dormant but I have quite a lot of gas, it should last me till it comes back up. I actually need to get some steel back from those high pressure vents and replace them with normal ones.
