Home is where the h... printing pod is
Base The Death Cantaloupe - Cycle 1
"Mayday! Mayd...!"
End of recording, we have lost contact. This is the last visual we have from the printing pod.
Base Luxury Galaxy - Cycle 5
The base is silent, we suspect the first dupes did not survive.
Base is considered lost.
Base Invisible Facility - Cycle 352
Researcher Harold: "I am telling you, this hat is making me look stupid... Is this thing even working? Hello? Hel..." -coughs- "This is Invisible Facility starting our report. We are alive!"
Rancher Steve: "I would like to add that while some of our ranches still need work or need to be relocated to increase production, we are working on improving our situation so we can feed ourself something else than indigenous plants. Yuk..."
Researcher Harold: "Right. The fact that we could not use coal or hydrogen generators until now impeded somewhat on our progress..."
Digger Ren muttering in the back: "Damn wheels..."
Researcher Harold: "But we are not giving up. We will do what it takes to keep our mission and colonise this part of space. Colony Invisible Facility will prosper under the guidance of the supreme Overlord!"
Celhyndrael: "Smartass... how long exactly do you plan on surviving?"
Researcher Harold: "I-I am afraid I have some very urgent research to do on this new material. It's amazing! Now if you will excuse me, Invisible Facility will be back with regular reports."
Celhyndrael: "I wish..."
Base Transdimensionnal Citadel - Cycle 85
Celhyndrael: "Alright people. I came here because in the end Invisible Facility did not make it. So I am now directly in charge to make sure things run smooothly. I need a hat. Where is my boss hat?
Okay, the good news is that we just hit Locavore, which means we can finally plant mealwood for the Dreckos ranch. They look like they are starving on those two peppa plants... wait why have they not been sheared recently? Their scales are fully regrown. Ranchers?!?"
Chief Scientist Jay: "Sorry boss, the ranchers seem busy..."
Celhyndrael: "... we are now 19, there is only 7 atmo suits available to go outside the core base. We still have masks but you are now out in chlorine and hydrogen so you guys keep getting major eye irritation. We need more fiber, so get shearing!
On another note, 15 cycles left and we are looking good for Carnivore. Might be a tad tight and it means more of us on base than I had planned for but at least we are definitely not starving. So that is good. And we can eventually add a level to the core base... maybe we can squeeze it on one side...
I need another exit done with more atmo suits available. We got tons of algae and the diffusers are somehow able to keep up but its not going to be enough for all the suits. We need to get that SPOM going, make sure the base and suits have more than enough oxygen and hydrogen for Dreckos. And for the kitchen. Vacuum is definitively bad, while it does provide the sterile environment required to keep the food from spoiling, the fridge and the equipment already broke down. So get me hydrogen in there, a nice, pretty pink.
Get moving people! Chop chop!"
Base Darkest Abyss - Cycle 27
Celhyndrael: "I do not know what remains off the Transdimensionnal Citadel. As far as we know they are still alive, but things might have... broken down. Somewhat. Who knows..."
Camille: "... does this mean it will happen to us too? I am sensing a pattern here..."
Celhyndrael: "Now now. Have no fear!"
Camille: "But we are stuck in the starting biome with no digger."
Celhyndrael: "And whose fault is th...?! Okay, that might be mine, I did not realise that I did not select a digger in the original team."
Camille: "Or since."
Celhyndrael: "... you are lucky we replaced the outhouses young girl, or I would make you clean them. Again."
(Yep, they are completely screwed, very slow start but fun! And after almost a year off I need the practice. I am streaming this attempt every Tuesday, if you want to see how that goes... )
